What if I lose my phone?
It is the same as if you lose your keys but instead of calling the locksmith you delete your old phone and register your new phone. You can require a PIN to be entered every time, so if someone has the phone but not the PIN they can not get in. Or you can delete the old phone from ECKey so that it can not be used.
Is it secure?
Yes—Both the ECKey and your phone can be hidden from everyone else with 128bit encryption of billions of rolling codes as used for internet encryption.
Can I still use my phone?
Yes—You can be talking on the phone at the same time as locking and unlocking the door.
What if my phone runs flat?
You can have an AA battery emergency charger for the phone at the door or a mechanical key as a back up.
Can I use a PIN?
Yes– Depending on the ECKey model you have chosen you can have no PIN, a PIN once and then it is hands free or a PIN every time. The PIN can be user specific or fixed for everyone.
