- How LifeSOS will protect you?
In many home emergencies, the victim is unable to reach a phone to call for help. For LifeSOS, in any case of emergency, simply depress the button on your wireless Medical Button, it will instantly activate the Base Unit located in your home. This unit will immediately play back the help message to alert the people around if any, and connect you to family member, neighbor, friend or even hospital. The unit then tells them your name, address, phone number etc., through 2-way voice communication, you can converse with them instantly. With vibration sensor inside, the button will issue inactivity alarm signal if it has been kept still for more than 12 hours. The button can be worn around the neck or on the wrist as you choose. The waterproof design can extend the areas of use even in the bathroom. If the internal battery goes too low, the warning indication will be shown on the Base Unit to remind the user. The Base Unit contains rechargeable back-up battery, which automatically takes over if there is a power break.
In addition, an activity sensor also can be placed in your home, detecting motion that occurs in your daily routine. If it detects no activity in a programmed period of time, the LifeSOS will automatically call for help.
- How to make the elder's living more safe and comfortable
Answer the incoming call
When an incoming call rings just press the Medical Button then the Base Unit becomes a handfree telephone and user doesn't have to run to the telephone set to answer the call. This feature eliminates the possible accident may happen to the elders when they run to answer the phone.
Home automation
With X-10 power line switches and home automation feature, the system can turn on the light in the evening automatically to make the living for elders safer and more comfortable.
Temperature and humidity monitoring and control
Temperature and humidity are very critical environment parameters to the health of elders. To incorporate with Temperature and Humidity sensors, the system will alert the elders when the temperature and humidity over the preset limits. User also can incorporate with Home Automation instruments to turn on the heater or air conditioner automatically if necessary.
Security requirement
If user has security concerns then burglar or fire sensors can be added to the system to provide user with a safer living environment.
